During his visit, Chef Jarad created and recorded exceptional content that will soon be featured across Carico’s media channels, showcasing the power and performance of Carico’s Ultra Tech II cookware. His expertise and innovative approach to cooking bring an exciting new perspective to healthy, Restaurant Worthy meal preparation—right in your own kitchen.
As part of this partnership, Carico hosted a private cooking class for an exclusive group of 14 guests, where attendees had the rare opportunity to enjoy a delicious tasting meal as well as learn from Chef Jarad firsthand. In this intimate, hands-on session, participants discovered how to create Restaurant Worthy, award-winning meals using Carico cookware. This immersive experience highlighted how Carico’s advanced cookware technology enhances flavors, optimizes cooking efficiency, and supports a healthier lifestyle.

About Chef Jarad McCarroll
South African-born Jarad McCarroll discovered his passion for food at an early age. At 22, he left South Africa to study in Switzerland under the esteemed Chef Patrick Diethelm, where he earned a coveted gold medal at the Zagg International Cooking Competition. Graduating as Valedictorian, Jarad soon accepted a prestigious offer at The Ritz London, training under Chef John Williams and earning the Annual Award of Excellence.
His journey continued as he worked alongside renowned chefs such as Nuno Mendes (Chiltern Firehouse), Mark Kempson (Kitchen W8), and Barry Fitzgerald (The Harwood Arms). He played an instrumental role in opening M Restaurants in London, helping the team win Harpers Best New Restaurant of the Year, and later led Restaurant Ours with Michelin-starred Chef Tom Sellers before embarking on a new venture in the Caribbean.
Jarad’s culinary excellence earned him the title of 2020 Chef of the Year for St. Barthelemy by Gault & Millau, as well as the highest-rated restaurant in the Caribbean with 15.5 Gault & Millau Points.
