The mecca of all juices, the juice that started it all (I can’t confirm this, but it sounds cool) – Green Juice. I don’t know if it’s the color or the fresh flavor of Green Juice, but I always feel so motivated to practice as many healthy habits as possible throughout the rest of my day when it begins with a Green Juice.
All our lives we’ve been told to eat our greens; however, sometimes you’re just not in the mood for cooking or simply are not a fan of certain leafy greens like some of us *ahem, me.* This recipe ensures you’re getting lots of daily powerhouse nutrients without having to work through a giant plate of veggies.
This recipe combines a few classic green juice ingredients: kale, green apple, celery, ginger (not green, but I love ginger so it’s going in!). You’re essentially drinking a glass full of anti-caner, anti-inflammatory, folate-packed goodness with this juice, and you’ll feel it as soon as you drink it!
I love incorporating kale because kale happens to be a vegetable I truly dislike eating, but I hate that I’m missing out on all of the folate action it provides. Studies have shown that folates, or vitamin B-9, assist in red blood cell formation and healthy cell growth and function, making kale an essential ingredient to add.1 The celery aspect is amazing, especially for me, as it can heal and activate the gut by restoring hydrochloric acid which helps us digest foods faster and more efficiently.
Not overly sweet, but still so refreshing, this green juice is a must-add to your weekly routine, so I hope you enjoy.

Carico Green Juice
Supplies
– Carico Juicer
Ingredients
– 5 Stalks Celery
– 1 Green Apple
– 1-2 Cups Kale
– 1/4 Inch Ginger
Directions
1. Cut celery and apple into halves and place into hopper in increments of 1/2 cup.
2. Place lid on the hopper and juice.
3. Repeat with remaining kale and ginger.
