What does it do?
Carico’s Saltless Conditioner makes water feel as if it is naturally soft. In hard water, minerals, like calcium and magnesium stick and accumulate on your fixtures, appliances and shower doors.
Carico’s Saltless Conditioner uses a process called Nucleation-Assisted Crystallization – which means it transforms magnesium and calcium into micro-crystals that cannot stick to surfaces and cannot not form scale.
This process also creates conditions that allow dissolved CO2 in the water to form micro-bubbles. These CO2 bubbles make it harder for bacteria to build up in your plumbing system, which prevents Biofouling.
Will the Carico Saltless Conditioner remove the old mineral scale in my pipes and appliances?
Yes! The system creates CO2. Which reduces scale, over time breaks down the old scale, and which will improve your water flow.
Is it harmful to humans or pets?
No! This system does not use any salt. It does not produce anything that is a danger to our health or the health of our pets and plants.

Is there any maintenance needed?
No! Once installed, you don’t need to add anything or even backwash.
How long does the Carico Saltless Conditioner last?
The proprietary, high-qualityfilter media will last as long as 3 years if used after a Carico Wholehouse Filter. Because it is designed to work with our system, Carico only guarantees it for one year if used alone.

The CaricoSaltless Conditioner is the only product on the market that addresses with silica, phosphates and sulfates without removing them. That is because of its unique ability to deal with both positive and negatively charged substances. Why doesn’t Carico believe in removing calcium and magnesium?1. Because minerals in our water are good for you! Drinking water withminerals reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and strokes! Drinking water with calcium in it also improves the strength of our teeth and bones.
2. Because we do not believe that adding salt to the water is good for you or the environment. To remove them, you need a water softener, which requires salt. Increasing the salt in your water INCREASES the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke, among other things. What’s worse is softeners can harm our water supply.
